If I had a penny for every time I made this recipe…I'd have A LOT of pennies. This high protein oatmeal recipe is my GO to and will convert any non-oatmeal person into a believer! It is packed with added protein, super flavorful, and keeps you full and satisfied for HOURS.
This is one of the 40 recipes that is in my Macro Friendly Recipe Ebook! Get it HERE.
Ingredients for my High Protein Oatmeal Recipe:
*½cup of oats (Quaker is fine)
*½cup liquid egg whites
*½ scoop Protein Powder of choice
*Optional: Flavorings (vanilla extract or any other extract), nut butter, fruit
Directions for my High Protein Oatmeal Recipe:
- Cook 1/2 cup of oats in a pot with 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil. Then bring down to level 1 and SLOWLY stir in 1/2 cup of egg whites. You MUST do this slowly so that you don't make “scrambled eggs” in your oats!
Once the liquid is mostly cooked through, transfer to a bowl, add in your protein powder, stevia, flavorings, nut butter, and fruit!
- Take a pic and post on social media using #megsmacros and tag me!
