If I had a penny for every time I made this recipe…I'd have A LOT of pennies.  This high protein oatmeal recipe is my GO to and will convert any non-oatmeal person into a believer! It is packed with added protein, super flavorful, and keeps you full and satisfied for HOURS.

Ingredients for my High Protein Oatmeal Recipe:

*½cup of oats (Quaker is fine)

*½cup liquid egg whites

*½ scoop Protein Powder of choice 


*Optional: Flavorings (vanilla extract or any other extract), nut butter, fruit


Directions for my High Protein Oatmeal Recipe:

  1. Cook 1/2 cup of oats in a pot with 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil.  Then bring down to level 1 and SLOWLY stir in 1/2 cup of egg whites.  You MUST do this slowly so that you don't make “scrambled eggs” in your oats!
  2. Once the liquid is mostly cooked through, transfer to a bowl, add in your protein powder, stevia, flavorings, nut butter, and fruit!

  3. Take a pic and post on social media using #megsmacros and tag me!
  4. Enjoy!

Carbs: 28g

Fat: 4g

Protein: 30g
